山上　エスピナス　はる（YAMAGAMI-ESPINASSE Haru）

広島市出身。幼少よりピアノを父に学ぶ。
同市、エリザベト音楽大学でパイプオルガンを廣澤嗣人氏に、グレゴリオ聖歌を水嶋良雄氏に学ぶ。横浜県民ホールで行われた第2回日本オルガンコンクールに入賞後、1981年に渡仏。オルセー音楽院並びにブーローニュ・ビヤンクール地方音楽院においてアンドレ・イゾワール氏に師事。両院にてプルミエ・プリを受賞。
並行してピエールフォン（オワーズ県）で、ミシェル・シャピュイ氏とジャン・サンタロマン氏の主宰するフランス古典音楽アカデミーに参加して研鑽を積む。

母国とフランスはもとより、ヨーロッパ各国で演奏し、ラジオ・フランスとNHKでの録音放送を行う。
2023年までナンテール市音楽院でオルガンを後進に指導したのち、現在はアントニー市の聖サチュルナン教会のオルガニストを務めながら演奏活動を続けている。

 

 

Born in Hiroshima, Japan, she began studying piano with her father. Haru Yamagami pursued her musical education—particularly in organ and Gregorian chant—at the Elisabeth University of Music in her hometown.

After winning a prize at the 2nd Japan Organ Competition in 1979, she decided to move to Europe. She settled in Paris in 1981 and studied at the conservatories of Orsay and Boulogne-Billancourt under the guidance of André Isoir. She was awarded premier prix d’orgue in 1982 and again in 1983.

Haru Yamagami further deepened her musical knowledge by attending the courses of Michel Chapuis and Jean Saint-Arroman in Pierrefonds (Oise).

She performs regularly throughout Europe, the United States, and her native Japan. She has made various recordings for Radio France as well as for the Japanese public broadcaster NHK.

Until 2023, she served as professor of organ at the Conservatoire de Nanterre. She now divides her time between her concert career and her position as organist at the Church of Saint-Saturnin in Antony.
